Foods to Cool Down in Summer


          Body heat is a normal condition which people experience mostly in the summer season. Body heat may cause severe dehydration and other heat related diseases like fatigue and stroke. Increased body heat can also disturbs our sleep.

 

SAVE YOURSELF FROM HEAT
                                                          

CAUSES OF INCREASE BODY HEAT:

                       In summer season we all eat some spicy dishes that also increases body heat.

 

Followings are the Main Causes of Body Heat;

•Dehydration

•Excessive intake of spicy foods

•Obesity or overweight

•Excessive intake of sunlight

                    More intake of foods having large amount of carbohydrates may cause body heat like spinach, ginger and black pepper. Stress also causes body heat and use of certain medications also cause it. Hyperthyroidism (a medical condition in which more energy is produced) also can elevate body's temperature.

 

SYMPTOMS OF BODY HEAT:

                        Followings are some major symptoms of body heat;

•Fatigue

•Heat stroke

•Vomiting

•Excessive Sweating

•weakness

•Headache

 

FOODS THAT REMOVE BODY HEAT:

             There are some of the major foods which can reduce or remove the body heat;

Mint:

         Mint is often believed to have a cooling effect when taken with beverages and can reduce the body heat especially during summer season. Mint contains methanol that soothes our body and creates a cooling effect. So, it is better to use mint during summer season to reduce body heat.

Cucumber:

               Cucumber is best to use in summer because it contains about 95% water that reduces dehydration and makes our body fresh.

Lemon juice:

                     Lemon juice can help us to cool our body and to keep it hydrated. It is called “skanjabin”. .Lemon juice also helps us to lose our body weight. It contains citric acid which is composed of vitamin C that help to keep the body cool.

Pomegranate juice:

                          Pomegranate juice contains vitamin C and also vitamin K that help our body to keep cool.

Coconut water:

                        Coconut water is very useful for our health, it also contains vitamin C, riboflavin, potassium and folic acid. We can use coconut water to cool our body and to remove excess amount of heat to our body.

Conclusions:

                    During summer season, many people face body heat. You must take these foods to prevent yourself from body heat. In addition to this, we must not go out from our houses to get less exposure to sun.
